The Crown- Broxbourne

This is a really solid dinner spot in the Butte Aux CaillesNothing too fancy or innovative, but the decor is appealing and the dishes are classic.

I was unsure about going to The Crown after reading other reviews, but decided to take a chance and I am very glad I did. The service was excellent and the food was top-notch for a pub/restaurant.

Our food was served cold in the middle, so we had to send it back. However, the service was good.

We gathered with friends for Sunday lunch at this restaurant, and it was fantastic! The food and service were excellent, and it was great value for money. When we arrived at 12:30, it was very quiet, but by 1:30 it was bustling and all tables were occupied. The atmosphere was lovely, with small rooms containing two or three tables, creating a cozy feel. In the summer, the garden would be a great place to dine, and the location next to the river was also charming.
