Emilia's Old House - Brownsville

The food portions are generous, and the prices on the menu are reasonable. The service is excellent, and your meal comes with soup, drinks, and desserts. I can't praise the home-style cooking enough!

The food was delicious, although I found it to be a bit rich. Both the restaurant and the restrooms were impeccably clean. We arrived at 6:00 PM on a Saturday, and the back area was closed for a private event, leaving only a few diners in the front section. Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner experience. Very good tasting Mexican food. Was down in the valley and had to stop here for dinner. Very good food. Very good chalupas. In any case, go to this place before 8:00. They close at the top.

Service was great and the food was even better. We were a large group at lunch and the service never slowed. We will be back!

What a wonderful spot for dinner! The prices for the food were quite reasonable. We ordered the Emilia special, which included soup, a main dish for two, and dessert. It was definitely the best choice we made during our visit!
