El Santuario Tacos Cocktails

I’ve been here 4 or 5 times and while the food is good, the service is terrible. It’s always the same inattentive, forgetful, slow, and awkward waitress running the floor. Tables are sticky, anything you ask for takes forever if you get it at all. Once i asked for limes and her excuse for not bringing them was that she didn’t have a knife to cut them with. No knife… at a restaurant?I’ve chatted with other friends and they all agree that they don’t frequent the place because of the terrible service.

Place was not good. Tacos were cold a lot of items were not in stock. Tables were sticky. We waited forever for our food and drinks. Disappointing as we are visiting from out of town and we always look forward to Brownsville food. So disappointing.

This is NOT your average taco restaurant. Don't expect the Tacos de Bistec from other local restaurants. I ordered the Ramen noodles. I was there to order the PORK BELLY tacos but the employee told me on Wednesday the restuarant has Ramen. He gave me a sample of the soup and I took the chance. I LOVED IT. I also ordered the hibiscus Margarita. It was smooth, delicious and with the right kick. Pricey- yes but worth it. I will go again. Ps : a big Shout out to Mike for great service.

Best tacos and bar in the valley! Tacos are unique and creative just like their mixed drinks.

The tacos were good but not what I expected. This place has something like fusion tacos. Totally original. Philadelphia Cheese Steak tacos, chicken mole tacos with chocolate mole tortillas, quail tacos, and more. If you 're looking for an original taco with grease dripping down your arm, this is not the place.Food: 4/5
