The Triple D Winery And Event Center

In town for work for the week and had this place recommended for lunch. So stopped in on a Monday and it was fairly busy! They are only open for lunch during the week and boy was it good! I have a crispy chicken salad (half size) with ranch and it was yummy! The chicken was cooked nice and tender with a super crispy crust. The salad mix was a leaf mix and was definitely fresh. The tea was good and strong like I like it as well. Can't wait to go back Thursday evening for a wine tasting and dinner!

Shame, everything was good except my steak was undercooked. Owner was incredibly rude and unable to make right on an undercooked steak and rather than hear us out, multiple people got involved and no one could get it together. I have never been more disrespected, really ever in life. Wine was delicious, the rest of food was great other than the service. My father in law didn't get his food until after everyone else was almost done and at that we had to ask someone to bring it out. This place could be great but management will need to get it together.

My parents took me,my husband, and our son here to celebrate our birthdays. This was our first and last visit. We drove 30 minutes to dine here. There were multiple things that were wrong, but we felt bad telling them because we were embarrassed for them it was so bad. To start: 1)we ordered a large charcuterie board for our table of 5, they brought the small 2) they brought our food out, minus my dads and promised to return with it. After we had almost finished our plates while my dad nursed his dinner salad,we finally were able to grab someone and they located my dads plate to bring out. 3) my husbands medium rare steak was very rare (ew) and they told us thats how we cook med/rare steaks and I can 't put THAT steak back on the grille, but I 'm going to have them put a new one on for you! .....never happened and numerous people became involved, all of which were confusing one another and ended on a very unprofessional note via the owner (whom was the one that initially stated she would have them prepare a new steak) 4) we had to remind our waiter (which I think she was the designated waiter, but numerous people came by probably adding to their constant confusions) multiple times to bring our drinks 5) there was no consistency and no remorse for their shortcomings. It was honestly pretty comical how crappy it was by the end of the experience. On a positive note, the live music was nice, the potato 's were tasty and their Cabernet was good. On a final note, my dad was devastated at the poor service for our big birthday celebration (we both have birthdays this week), the food was not good enough to outweigh the service downfalls and we will certainly not drive the distance to go thru that again! Lubbock has enough local restaurants to not waste your time and money on poor quality and bad service.

Food was good. Restaurant is nice inside. Right off the downtown square. Had the pork chop and it was very good. The potato side was good as well. Music was a bit loud but other than that everything was good.
