They could consider upgrading the potatoes a bit, but other than that, everything was great. It would be nice to see some innovative breakfast options; it can get a bit repetitive since we've been coming here for a while. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a cozy and relaxed breakfast spot.
We were seated for about 10 minutes without receiving any water or even making eye contact with the 6 or 7 staff members who were milling around. One staff member eventually acknowledged us but was unable to locate our designated waiter, and no one was willing to take on the service outside their assigned area. I don’t understand this at all—I just wanted to enjoy a nice brunch, and you completely ruined my Saturday! We ended up leaving because it seemed like no one was interested in serving us. The service was a huge disappointment!
A great diner-style restaurant! The food was tasty and the portions were generous.
Today we had a family gathering and the food and service was awesomeThanks Nicolas for giving us a great service
This is a wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch on the South Shore that is patronized by locals, but as both French and English is spoken, tourists will feel comfortable. I'm from California and am a regular at this restaurant when I'm in Montreal. Further, this is the place if you want delicious crepes sweet or savory, or if you want an Eggs Benedict dish. The Breakfast Club is even worth driving to from The City by crossing Pont Jacques Cartier. Our party ordered up Crepe Romaine with prosciutto and spinach, lobster Eggs Benedict, and a cheese omelette with a side of ham. Filling portions and delicious. And at reasonable prices at $19.95 Canadian and under.Brewed coffee is endless, and espresso drinks are available. The restaurant is huge and the crowd is large, but there is hardly a wait for a table for Sunday brunch. Outdoor seating is also available. Service is fast and friendly and attentive. The restaurant closes for a summer break (part of July and August), so call ahead to make sure it's open. And don't let the few number of reviews put you off. This place is the real deal.
