Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

We asked if the gizzards were fresh and were assured they were. They were old and chewy.

Fast friendly service and order was correct. Close to home and a favorite of mine. Stop in usually once a week if not every other week. Never any big issues I can recall and the little ones that have were always taken care of on the spot.

Chicken was cold and hard. Wedges weren't cooked and cold. Biscuits were amazing.Took back up and asked to redo them with a please. Guy at the counter was super nice and apologetic. Remade the food, wedges came out piping hot but the chicken while no longer dry was cold and spicy and not fresh. Very disappointed. Icecream was great.

I was told there was a 7 minute wait for chicken livers. It took almost 16 minutes to get my order. The livers were swimming in grease. There was almost no crispy coating on them. Also, I paid for 2 biscuits and got one burnt one. This experience was so bad I'll never go to this Lee's again.
