Rowe's - Brooklyn

Unpretentious neighborhood family style Caribbean restaurant. Unlike some others in East Flatbush, they have table service, but most of their business seems to be take out for walk in customers. I had baked salmon with a sweet but peppery glaze which was delicious. Rice and beans were also quite good. The side order of cabbage tasted a bit bland, but improved with salt. They also have the usual favorites curried goat, oxtail, and chicken and a small but tasty looking dessert selection.

Rowe 's Atmosphere should be 4 stars because I (personally) would love to see scenic views of Jamaica and Jamaicans on the walls but I do not want to lower the overall score as to some it 's a non issue. It is a definite 5 stars for its cleanliness and pleasant ambience. Mr. Rowe recently catered an event for my family and the food was all the rage! Clean, fresh, delicious, AUTHENTIC Jamaican cuisine served piping hot at our venue. Staff is courteous, pleasant and efficient way more than can be said for most Jamaican restaurants where staff are shamefully rude. This restaurant deserves 10 stars! Mr. Rowe is an absolute pleasure to deal with; a true professional. Please check them out you 'll be pleased. A best kept secret in the neighborhood of East Flatbush.

Repetitive good tasting food.The Servers are always..pleasant and willing to serve you the best. The atmosphere is always attractiveand welcoming .....

Phenomenal! We bought out the dining room for a funeral repass and they were more than accommodating. They served about 50 people and still keep the store open for walk-ins. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend and visit this place when I'm in town again! Thank you!
