I didn't have high expectations for the noodles since Kulu is primarily known for their sweets, but they were surprisingly delicious. The noodles had a perfect chewy texture and were cooked to the ideal al dente consistency. I really enjoyed the chili flavor as well. Kulu is such a classic spot and my go-to for late-night Chinese desserts. I'm so glad they're still around!
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a snack or some bubble tea. The staff is very friendly, and the drinks are both refreshing and delicious. I highly recommend it!
I visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was completely empty. I ordered four items, with only one of them requiring cooking (the noodle soup). I ended up waiting 45 minutes, which was quite frustrating. To make matters worse, a group that ordered after me received their food first. I likely won’t be returning.
This place has excellent and unique desserts. You can literally see the 8th avenue N station from the window as you enjoy your yum yum dessert. I got the Fuji mountain with a original wage, sweetened red bean, sweetened condensed milk, sliced almond, shredded coconut, mochi, and matcha ice cream. Perfection!
Came by last night for Snowy Durian, it was delicious! The staff inside was extremely nice. Will come back to try new stuff!
