Truly delicious food. Every bite was perfect. Not only what we had but what we saw was/looked fantastic. The service was great. Lovely. Seemed family operated. I love BYOB. So much cheaper. And to get to the bathroom you get to go through the kitchen and I love to see the chefs at work. Very clean kitchen. Comfortable dining room. Great place to go after the Brooklyn Museum. The breads are wonderful. Great selection. Best saag Dahl ever.

I had anticipated the salmon tikka to be similar to a traditional tikka masala, just made with salmon, but it turned out to be barbecued cubes of salmon. While this was a surprise, it was truly delicious. The salmon pieces were of high quality and cooked perfectly, with a delightful smoky aroma that complemented the tomato seasoning they were coated in. As for the makhni, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the tomato-based gravy infused with Indian spices reminded me of many other curries I’ve tried before. It paired nicely with the rice and garlic naan. Unfortunately, I was most let down by the cheese poori; it was lacking in flavor and required dipping into the provided sauces to have any taste at all. The cheese itself was also quite bland. Overall, this is a solid option for Indian takeout or delivery in the PLG area.

I recently tried Gandhi for delivery, and it was delicious! The samosa chaat, korma curry, and cheese naan exceeded my expectations. I would definitely order from there again!
