Chikurin - Brooklyn

I've always enjoyed my time at this restaurant. Their soba soup is exceptional, and I often order the bagel roll, which is the best I've had at any Japanese restaurant. The service is generally good, though at times they can be a bit excessive in checking if you're finished even when there’s still food on your plate. I also frequently get takeout from here and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this place!

Be sure to try the plum wine! It’s absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent, and the food was flavorful as expected, beautifully presented as well.

The food here is fantastic, and the service is equally impressive. The waitresses are attentive and make sure you feel comfortable by regularly checking in to see if you need anything. The only downside to this restaurant is the lighting; it’s incredibly dim, making it hard to see both the staff and the food. Other than that, everything is great!
