Cup was kinda small for a price of almost $10. Ice cream is good quality but giving three stars because of the value you get for money. Bananas cream pie flavor was delicious but pistachio almondine was a bit gritty. Place has ample seating indoor, outside on street and there is also a charming backyard area when the weather is nice. They also serve coffee and pastries.
We came here on a Saturday afternoon after we noped out on The Social Brooklyn's super packed line... and they do a pretty good job here! Only one lady was running the shop at the time but the flow of customers were steady so the wait was standard. I got the pistachio and matcha flavor. The matcha was strong and pistachio had much of an almond taste with real pistachio chunks in it. I took one star off due to the portion value since it was quite small.. however, it was cool that they do orders for split singles. I haven't seen that anywhere else! We finished our ice cream in the outdoor patio and noticed all the beachy vibes, which suits the coming season well.
As I always say, icecream goes straight to the heart. No matter how full you are, there is always room for icecream. Me and my friend found this place online. I called to verify they were still open (hours online some times don't have accurate information. The lady who picked up said we had half an hour to get there as they closed at 8. We were 5 minutes away. Split single is 2 small scoops. So that's what I got. I'm a coffee addict. Love cold brew. So I got the cold brew and salted caramel flavor. The coffee flavor was really strong and prominent. The caramel was indeed creamy and nice. The icecream is organic and quite tasty. I'll definitely return here and made a point to my friend to try more of the flavors from the menu. Great icecream spot!
This is a cute little neighborhood cafe, tucked away within Prospect Heights brownstones. It's an easy walk away from Prospect Park as well. They're known for their coffee, but I only got a chance to try their drinks. I got the matcha latte and chai and was not very impressed. The matcha latte tasted bland and watery, and didn't have much matcha in it. It honestly just tasted like milk, so definitely not worth $5-6. The chai was better, but nothing mind blowing. The outdoor patio is cute. It's surrounded by apartment buildings so there isn't much light, but it's a nice place to chill and chat. I tried to work from home there, but the wifi was too unreliable. It's a cute cafe, and I need to try their ice cream sometime.
Pictures later because I will go back. The customer service was great. They did a great job greeting us and telling us about the ice cream selection. There are non dairy flavors also. The environment is cute and cozy, I managed to go even on a freezing day to enjoy they're ice cream
