We ordered the Kafka deluxe sandwich with fries, and it was absolutely delicious! In fact, we loved it so much that we returned every day during our three-day stay in New York! We also tried the Kafka over rice and the falafel, both of which were fantastic! The owner was very friendly and ensured our meals were perfect every time. The atmosphere at Alnoor Halal was warm and inviting; it was clear that the community adored this place and visited regularly. Everyone referred to the owner as "brother," and it felt like a tight-knit gathering spot. I even ordered a custom dish called the Texas Special, which is Kafka over fries topped with white sauce (hot sauce is optional!). Don’t hesitate to ask for it when you visit! Looking forward to seeing you again, brother!
Food 9/10 Price 10/10 Sheikh behind the counter: 11/10 I recently moved to Brooklyn from Toronto and have been trying every halal place I can find. I had been mostly disappointed until I tried this hidden gem of a deli! The prices are HALAL, not like the other halal stores trying to rip you off with 16$ dishes. The Philly Steak is so good. The hot dog had that snap. The whole chicken over rice is a flavourful, juicy and plenty. Owner is super chill. When I asked him if the rice would be enough for two, he said 'no problem I give you extra rice for free '. Who does that in BK? I highly recommend this store if you are in the neighborhood, especially for large groups! Shukran ya Sheikh!
The. Best. Middle. Eastern. Food. In. Brooklyn. This place is a hidden Brooklyn treasure, it looks like an ordinary deli in the middle of a somewhat bad area, but the food is worth every penny. The chicken and lamb wraps are outstandingly flavorful, juicy and something out of a Michelin star restaurant. The staff treat you like family and the owner is a truly nice guy. Amazing place for any tourist or local who wants to experience NYC Arab food. 10/10!
This spot is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. The staff is seriously the best. You walk in greeted with smiles and you get the same kind of warmth as if it’s grandmas cooking. Not to mention the food is on par with grandmas. Their meat is fresh (never frozen) and their burgers, Philly cheese steaks, chicken cutlets, etc. are some of the best I’ve had in the area. Cannot recommend Al Noor enough for anything you’re craving!
I've been visiting this restaurant for over five years, and it has never let me down. The food is incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor, all at a fantastic price. The chefs at the grill are very friendly and polite. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area.
