Sofra - BRONX

Though Sofra may be on the more expensive side, the elegant decor, exceptional service, and carefully crafted food make each visit well worth the cost. If you're searching for a wonderful spot for dinner, you can't go wrong with Sofra.

The saganaki was delicious, but the chicken paidakia was simply grilled chicken served over plain french fries with ketchup. There was no sauce or any other accompanying flavors, and the chicken was dry and overcooked. I felt like I could have gotten a similar (or even better) dish at a typical diner for a much lower price. Additionally, I was surprised to see that I was charged $6 for a bottle of water.

I had heard great reviews about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. However, when I walked in, it was empty, which should have been a red flag. The menu was limited and basic for the prices they were charging. To make matters worse, I noticed they overcharged my credit card. This experience opened my eyes, and I won't be returning. Make sure to double-check your bank statements after dining here.

The food was very good. The service was also the same. Maybe bc the restaurant was empty except for us. Free parking is available along the store front. The waitress had a very strong BO that was unpleasant.

Wonderful, consistent food we ordered the Bronzino twice now and both times it was as delicious. Fresh and cooked perfectly tried their salad as well very good and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.
