フィードバックを提供するOne downside was that the curtains in the room did not fully shut due to the way they were operated, leaving a gap in the middle. Additionally, there were no net curtains, making the room visible to anyone outside. This could be inconvenient, especially for getting ready for a wedding in the bridal suite. The outside space was not very interesting, more like a small courtyard with seating for dining outdoors. The single-pane windows let in a lot of noise from the nearby motorway, although it became less noticeable after a few minutes. There was ample parking and easy access to the room through a side door with a key. The room had plenty of storage space for clothes, toiletries were provided, and there were also tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available with a kettle. There were lots of plug sockets and a toothbrush charger in the bathroom. The TV had freeview and provided information about the hotel. The continental breakfast in the morning was enjoyable, with fresh fruit, toast, and yogurt. Overall, if you are looking for a comfortable stay in a grand countryside manor, this place is perfect. I would recommend it for weddings as well, as long as the curtain issue is fixed. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again if we return to Bromsgrove.
This establishment should embody style and luxury. However, it falls short with mismatched, chipped tables and chairs. Items that should be disposed of or stored in an attic are left next to the men's restroom. The young waitstaff is great, but the management seems to think they know best and have a condescending attitude. It's apparent to anyone with common sense that a bar queue can be managed by assigning someone to work on it.
My friend and I have visited Grafton Manor for Afternoon Tea on several occasions using Groupon Vouchers. Despite some negative reviews, we have always enjoyed our experience and continue to return. The staff is always welcoming and the hotel has a charming old Manor House style that adds to the occasion. If you prefer modern settings, this may not be the place for you. We never feel rushed during our visits, and the tea and coffee are always plentiful. The food is served beautifully, although the cakes may have been a bit repetitive the last time we visited. Overall, we are eagerly anticipating our next visit to Grafton Manor!
I was bought a Groupon voucher for prosecco afternoon tea here and looked forward to it as had heard good things about Grafton Manor. To be fair to them, they let me book it days after my voucher expired which they didn't have to do but generally I wasn't overly impressed with the actual afternoon tea or grounds/decor of this manor house quite run down, cobwebs etc. There was only one girl working who looked rushed off her feet bless her, and it was only my mom and I in the dining area which made the atmosphere very ... quiet! The selection of food on the afternoon tea was very standard and nothing really special about it. I usually take bits home with me in a doggie bag but I didn't bother which says it all! I think they also played a christmas song in the background which I thought was weird...
I’ll start with a positive, the steak meal we had was very good and could not really fault. However this is such a lovely setting and the restaurant now seems an afterthought with weddings and parties taking precedent. On entering there was nobody to greet us.Inexperienced staff member then appeared and had no idea how to mix drinks.Second staff member gave us menus, did not as if we wanted starter, water on table, no bread..just all the basics you would expect. Finally they didn’t have any red wine suitable to go with steak....this was really astonishing! For goodness sake if you advertise a steak evening make sure you’ve got an adequate wine selection to go with it!We then finished off our drinks in the bar area which looks like it had been furnished from a charity shop. This could be an amazing place to eat but there are sadly so many things wrong.
