Prima Donnas - BROMLEY

Went last night and after quite a number of years and I have to say I was extremely disappointed! Party of 6 and straight off the service was poor. Glasses empty and not offered another drink, even to the point one of us had to go to the bar to order drinks and there was no one around. Main courses were mediocre, and not worth the price tag. The worst plates were the beef stroganoff (with minimal meat) we had to question it with the waitress, and she ended up bringing extra. I had the veal and the meat was so thin and small, they hid it under half a plate of sauce and half a plate of over salted fries. I questioned this too and the waitress said “sorry, that is the portion”. It’s not a place I would be rushing back to, which is a shame as it’s always had a great reputation!

Continuing excellence both food and service cannot be faulted from owner downwards looking forward to next visit for family birthday

I have lived in the area for 20 years, but my first visit to this restaurant was with friends only 12 months ago and very much enjoyed it. As a result I was eager to take my wife the next time, which we did, but the experience was not as good, with food being in very small portions and not very attentive staff. With the initial good experience in mind we decided to visit again a week ago, only to be disappointed again, with what was again small portions and poor quality vegetable accompaniments to the main courses. In particular potatoes like bullets which was highlighted to staff and the response was ' they would let chef know '. On reflection of our last 2 visits I don 't think we will be going again.

Wonderful service and consistent food at Prima Donna's. Varied menu, always something for everyone, nice food and service with a smile. Always busy so come early.

I used to be a regular diner here before moving out of the area. A chance to revisit when back in Bromley was a great experience. Restaurant has always had a great reputation, and they didn't disappoint at this dinner. An extensive menu with many different dishes, including some vegan options for those who are interested. Set menu 2, 3 courses, and a full a la carte menu. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was wonderful.
