Yamato Japanese Steakhouse - Brockton

This was my 1st time trying Yamato. I ordered on Door Dash for a lunch and so pleasantly surprised how good the sushi was. It was so fresh and flavorful and if my camera had worked could have showed you! Usually I have found on delivery you don’t get what you ordered. In my case I got more! I thought I ordered tempura shrimp. I got the 2 beautiful shrimp, along with tempura veggies too. It was so delicious and will be back! Thank you for a really nice and yummy experience!

The service when we walked in wasn’t great. The guy sat down a party who was missing people but when it came to us missing one person he told us we had to wait, not a big deal but fair is fair. We sat down immediately and we got this nice waitress. We were there to celebrate mom’s birthday and they had this fancy birthday sign, she even offered to take pictures. The food was amazing, from the vegetables, to the salmon, the shrimp. It was just so perfect, hot and fresh straight off the hibachi grill. The waiter was very friendly and entertaining. I highly recommend.

So yummy. The chef was entertaining, and the people we didn't know at our table were a lot of fun!I liked the combination of rice and noodles as standard side at hibachi. The Lady Gaga roll was HUGE. It's pretty good, too.

Foodcwas great. Service wascgreat too. Theconly complaint was the soup was not hot. Itcwas luke warm. We told the waitress abd she bought back very hot soup. Definitely recommend. Parking: Ok
