Bread was warm and soft but the plate with oil was odd with very little oil and balsamic for a table of 4 and a large pile of shredded parmesan on it which made it awkward to eat with the bread. Mushroom appetizer was ok but had way too much sauce. Calamari and the sauces that came with it were great! Lobster ravioli with shrimp were very tasty but were swimming in a large bowl of sauce which made it hard to find the ravioli and shrimp in there and very hard to cut and eat. Once I pulled them out of the sauce onto a plate to eat, I could really taste them and they were delicious!
Second time dinning at Victoria's in Rochester. The service was great on both visits and the food is great. The spinach dip and wings were my favorite.
The main dishes were mediocre at best. Perhaps the focus should be on quality rather than quantity. Most people I saw were walking out with bags of food. No thanks it was disappointing the first time. I certainly did not need to take that to go and live the experience again. Maybe I was foolish for going on a Monday. Perhaps the 3rd team works the kitchen on Monday nights? If you want volume then you are going to be happy.
Not perfect timing for Lasagna, Sun, 12:00 noon. Got a bowl of a couple noodles smothered in a mountain of cheese. Like eating a bowl of melted cheese with a bit of sauce. I didnt even eat more than 3 bites. The waiter was nice enough to offer a free dessert but the reason I went was Italian... He admitted it wasn't their best showing. Also, FLIES. It summer I get it but I hate flies.
Hands down some of the best Italian I’ve ever had! We had a group of Combat Veterans in town for a convention and we happened to stop by and we loved it so much we had to come back before we left! The bread they serve is delicious! The food portions are large enough you could share. My husband and I shared the ravioli emiliani. I am in LOVE with this dish. I couldn’t get enough. The creamy sauce is like heaven. Kudos to the chef! Everyone at our table loved their food as well. We had a question on our bill and spoke to the owner. She was absolutely amazing. I cannot say this enough! The caliber of customer service she provided you don’t see these days and I am thankful we met such a kind soul. If you are ever in Rochester MN. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed! Oh.. and eat a bit of those rolls for me!
