West Side Steakhouse - Broad Channel

We had a fabulous meal there — lamb shank and salmon were our entree choices and they were both extremely well executed — perfection. The bed of mushroom risotto under my lamb shank was YUM!!! We also ordered a side of creamed spinach that was top-notch. Wine list was ok for by-the-glass options, but wholly impressive on the bottle selections: Jordan, Stags Leap, or Silver Oak cabs would have been perfect for steaks. Definitely would come back!

Nice and small restaurant very close to the Lincoln tunnel. Clean and friendly. Menu has a nice selection and the prices are decent for midtown Manhattan. The ribeye was a little small for a 16 oz, but it was a bone-in cut. Texture and flavor was pretty yummy. The NY strip had a flavorful seasoning and the meat was pretty tender for the type of cut. Service was good and the food was ok. Being from the Midwest, it takes a very good steak to impress me. Hence, only 4 stars.

I think this is one of the best porterhouse steak in NYC. The price is reasonable too. The side was also good and the staffs were so nice! I will definitely go back to try other menu too.
