I live in New Jersey and I ordered a cake from Conti’s because I heard they were one of the best. Unfortunately not when it comes to spelling… after spending a couple of hundred dollars and driving from NJ to the Bronx only to find out that they misspelled “Congratulations” and all if the letters were different sizes! Needless to say I wasn’t the only one that noticed the mistake and it caused us not to be able to take normal pictures of the full cake. It was pretty embarrassing and I was definitely not happy!

Unfortunately, no before pictures but we were all very happy with the cake I ordered for a very special surprise Kindergarten graduation for our daughter. She 's homeschooled and would not have a traditional Step Up ceremony, so it was really nice to do something personal, just for her. I submitted my request online and received correspondence immediately. We discussed design, flavor and personalization. I was able to ask for suggestions and was put at ease with the honesty of the person that was answering my questions. We always get our event cakes from Conti 's. They 've been in our family for decades. We were only having a few people over and we chose their 6 inch heart cake with icing in our daughter 's favorite color. We opted for a vanilla cake and their strawberry shortcake filling, which was perfect and not too sweet. Everything was perfect, down to the gold nonpareils that adorned her icing. Needless to say, it was a hit. I even grabbed a pack of ready-to-go mini cupcakes, in case the cake was not enough, but everything was fine and everyone in attendance no she 'd on all of it. Besy of all, she was super excited and happy with how it all turned out.

They never fail to disappoint. Always amazed at their work. This year they created a butterfly theme for my son's memorial BBQ. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing
