A pretty solid Chinese restaurant, a bit north of the Main Street station area. It's easy to miss, although the interior is pretty spacious. They really should reprint the menu, since the dishes listed are not in particular orders. That said, everything we tried is very delicious from Kung pao chicken to Chinese pancake. The staff is friendly. It was pretty empty during the early dinner hours at 5 pm, but got packed quickly after 6 pm or so. Would definitely recommend it if you want a more spacious restaurant to enjoy a nice meal. Indoor ventilation was great, CO2 was around 500 ppm when it wasn't too crowded yet.
So disappointed! the restaurant has been sold! This location is it gonna be a hot pot place! I will missed the Yummy food at private kitchen forever!
After reading about this place, I took my 2 youngest kids and my wife to eat here. Fish fillet with sour vegetables soup: it was decent. Fried Milk: this was good and surprisingly it was the best dish of the night. It was plastered on the wall without a price. When I got the bill I was surprised that it was $10.99. Way overpriced as we ordered this similar dish in tons of places and it was about 1/2 this price. Boiled Chicken sesame soy: the soy sauce was too salty. Pig Feet with brown sauce: somehow it didn 't come with a brown sauce . When we asked for it, the waiter said it doesn 't come with a sauce but he gave hot spicy chili oil sauce instead (like the ones you find in the supermarket). The trotters were missing some seasoning as they were completely bland but we were not in the mood to dip them in chili oil. Pork Shoulder jelly: it was ok but the soy sauce that it came with was too salty again. BB Ribs with special sauce. This was decent and one of my sons like this dish the best. Spicy beef noodle soup: This dish had amazing aroma and flavor but it had a common problem again as it was way too salty. This could be the best version of this if they cut most of the salt out. Braised Duck bamboo: The final and the priciest dish for the nite was the most disappointing. It was like they poured the container of salt in it. The flavor was similar to spicy Sichuan fish we ordered in several places but this has to win the prize as the most saltiest dish we ever had ever. Besides the salt, we got mostly neck bones and a few pieces of meat. This was a complete ripoff. Unfortunately it was overall a very SALTY (mixed with MSG) experience for us. Never again as we had to drink tons of water all nite after this horrible experience.
The ambiance is nice. I like the foods. Will recommend to my friends. Hard to find parking.
