Caffé Spolek - Brnenec

First of all, there is a great atmosphere. The coffee is also pleasant. It's a better than average café when it comes to everything else, but I will definitely come back, mainly because of its atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable here.

We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent non-traditional cuisine and sweet ending to our meal. The atmosphere was tranquil, with no one rushing around. We were very satisfied. Thank you, we will gladly stop by again.

Spolek is a traditional café where every Brno resident started their café career. It is friendly, unpretentious, and down-to-earth. Only some hipsters can be occasionally too hipster.

Spolek is like a classic institution of modern cafe restaurants in Brno. They were among the first to offer artisan roasters coffee interspersed with a distinctive aura of understated cool. Students, academics, artists find it equally as soothing as families and elderly. Whether you prefer to smoke or not, the two floor arrangement makes sure either type of guests won't be mutually bothered. It's a place I can warmly recommend when in Brno as a visitor or local and one I regularly come back to be it for the great lunch menu including vegetarian dishes, their delicious pasta or divine coffee drip!
