Cubber's - Bristol

We had lunch there on Saturday, and my wife recommended that I try the smoked brisket sandwich. I've been to many BBQ places in this state, some of which are really good, but this brisket sandwich was the best I've ever had. I really hope they keep it on the menu this summer!

I had a delicious and generously-sized Pesto Roni pizza with friendly and efficient service for only $14. It's truly the best in Vermont, no question about it. Just keep in mind that the drink options are limited.

Courteous staff, was relatively fast for how busy it was. The pizza was great. The gazpacho soup was not the thickest I had, but it was well flavored and I liked the avocado supplement. The tomato cheese soup tasted like spaghetti os... it wasn't my favorite. Milkshakes were great. The mozzarella cheese sticks were good, although the marinara sauce with which they came was Bland. I really liked the crispy deep fried pimple spear with Sriracha Ranch sauce.

Great local pizza and sub shop with lots of interesting items and specials. Friendly service, even when they are crazy busy.
