Shehnai Indian Restaurant - Brisbane

The service was excellent and the restaurant is a charming spot for a dinner.

Unhygenic food, taste horrible and it's like one gravy is used for all curry. Service is terrible. I don't recommend it at all.

Quiet night out but lovely service and decent food.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The vegetable samosa was bland and tasted stale, likely being a few days old. The butter chicken was tangy and did not taste like traditional butter chicken at all. Even the naan bread was not up to par, tasting like it had been reheated. Overall, it was a complete waste of money and the stale samosas could be bad for one's health. This is not the way a restaurant should serve food.

I can't believe we didn't visit this restaurant sooner. The aromas coming from the kitchen were promising and they certainly delivered! We tried the Keema Naan, Cheese Naan, and Tikka Naan, all of which were incredibly delicious in flavor and texture. We also ordered the chicken biryani and lamb korma (yes, we definitely over-ordered!). Once again, the flavors were outstanding with an excellent balance of textures, spices, and sweetness. The staff were very friendly and the service was perfect. In the words of the great Molly, do yourself a favor and visit Shehnai Indian!
