Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill - Brisbane

I ordered the Loaded Fries for takeout and they did not disappoint. Topped with slow-cooked beef and sour cream, they were delicious. I highly recommend trying them!

Wow... how could Mexican cuisine let you down? Visit this place to see for yourself! It's a combination of a fast food restaurant and a street style cafe. The food was mediocre, the service was slow, and it was clear that the business was struggling. I even felt sick after eating there. Thank goodness it didn't get any worse.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Not only were all the nachos, soft and hard tacos, and the full range of fillings completely gluten-free, but the staff were also incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. Without me even having to ask, a young man changed his gloves and prepared my food on a freshly lined board to prevent cross contamination. And did I mention how delicious the tacos were?! They even made the guacamole right in front of me. As someone who recently spent 4 years in Latin America, I was in need of a bean fix for breakfast before my flight, and Mad Mex delivered. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I like this place, but I think they can make it better. The Veg Burritos are excellent, as are most other dishes on the menu. The only problem is that they cook the Burritos in Alfoil, which is made from Aluminium, and Aluminium has been associated with Alzheimers Disease. So if you want to lose your marbles at 50, keep using Alfoil. And the rice is white. Why not go with Brown rice, like they do in Mexico. Like they do in the competitors chain of shops in Brisbane? But unlike them, don't charge a dollar for it, just make it standard. Staff are always super friendly and efficient and I feel for them on hot days as there is no air-con in the kitchen area. Mad Mex: get rid of the Alfoil, use something else that is not dangerous to health, add free brown rice to the mix, and you will have the best Mex in Brisbane. Food: 8.5 Value: 9 Service: 8
