Very unfortunate situation where they served vegetarians meat. What started as a very pleasant evening turned very sour very quickly after the food was served. What could have easily been rectified was handled very poorly. There was no apology, there was no replacement dish there was nothing but unpleasantness from the owner and staff. What I found was most appalling was when one of the customers was told to sit down shut up or leave. His wife was upset and left and he soon followed, to my amazement 2 waiters went out to make sure he wasn't going to come back. One of the staff looked like he was looking for a fight. If anyone was making a scene it was the restaurant for not listening to their customers and them forcing their customers to leave. Absolutely disgraceful

WORST Restaurant Experience of my life I was having dinner here for my friends 21st birthday and this was something we had been looking forward to for months. Our group had arranged a set menu to accommodate to the kitchen staff to make things easier and had specific vegetarian options as half the group were vegetarians. When the mains came out for dinner I asked if mine was the vegetarian dish I had order the staff told me it was. Everyone at the table was very suspicious of the dishes contents and I specifically asked the owner if there was any meat or meat product in the vegetarian dish as I told her I had a severe allergy to it. She insisted it was completely vegetarian and I convinced myself and the others that she said the meal contained no meat. Later after my friends and I had started eating our meal we found which was clearly large chunks of meat hidden within the mushrooms. The wait staff admitted to my friend that this was meat and yet the owner refused to talk to us. When we approached her again to clarify she told us to " sit down and shut up" as she would not deal with us. We tried again to talk to her after the meal as I was growing very concerned for my wellbeing and whether or not I would need to leave out of illness. This third time the owner told us that she had already dealt with us and we were the ones making a scene. We asked if she didn't want to talk to us in front of other customers then could we talk outside, she said told us to get out of her restaurant and not come back and stormed off. Then one of her family members came over and started verbally abusing us so I left the restaurant as they were clearly not going to give me any answers. I went straight home and for the next 2-3 hours was vomiting so violently I was coughing up blood from the harness to my throat. If you have any allergies DO NOT EAT HERE!

Worst Restaurant, cafe or Food Business we have ever experienced in our lives. We were part of a set Dinner that included Vegetarian options. When the meals came out, they suspiciously look like they contained meat in them. When asked about this the wait staff assured us there was no trace of meat. So about half way through our meal one noticed a big chunk of meat in a vegetarian dish, to which we again enquired this time to the owner and to check with the chef. Of course they had mixed up. Now I actually own a Cafe/Restaurant. I know mistakes happen. What should NEVER happen however is how they treated myself or my wife (1 of the Vegetarians) Firstly they were so rude to us when we even enquired about it. They told us verbatim that they have told us everything there is to know and we should stop aski g questions. Then us my wife was starting to feel nauseous I ask calmly and politely to talk with the owner outside away from the customers. Not only refused to talk with me but told me point blank that I should shut my mouth and sit down as she didnt want to cause a scene. The situation just kept getting worse, i ask for the original menu and was refused, i ask to talk with the chef and was refused. We were sitting right next to the counter and kitchen I could hear every single word they said. Admitted to mixing up Loudly said how rude we were being! Loudly said Who Do I think I am for asking these questions!? Never got to speak with them, practically threatened to leave the store afterwards even though we were Their customers! My preceeded to be physically sick as a direct result of this. Not only will i not be back, but will be lodging a formal complaint to brisbane city council Food Safety AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ps Was going to give this place a 0 star but actually couldn't which explains the 1 star.
