Chaothai - Bridgton

I had the chance to dine at some of the best Thai restaurants in NYC and Manhattan, and while they were a good introduction to Thai cuisine for me, I didn't truly understand how amazing Thai food could be until I tried Frau Chao's version of drunken noodles. It is, without a doubt, the best I have ever had. The food is not only delicious, but always fresh, made to order, and prepared with love and passion by Frau Chao. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to customize orders to meet any dietary restrictions or preferences. Whether you have food allergies, are a vegetarian, or just have specific flavor preferences, you can trust that your meal will be satisfying to both your stomach and your soul. Frau Chao's food not only surpasses any downtown Manhattan restaurant, but also brings a sense of community to our neighborhood. The pad thai at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! They always get the heat level just right when you ask for it. The staff is very friendly too.

I was feeling unwell, so I decided to order the chicken soup to take away and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the thin rice noodles that came on the side, allowing me to save half for the next day. The soup was very aromatic and delicious.

Authentic thai food. We are locals and eat here all of the time, this is our favorite restaurant in Bridgton.
