While the noodles and toppings are more typical of the south, the broth definitely leans towards the northern style. The staff is extremely friendly, and the smile from the grandfather adds a special touch that brings joy to the customers. Plus, the restaurant is impeccably clean.
Wow! Just wow! There are plenty of Pho and Ramen places in Connecticut, but this one stands out above the rest! The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, always welcoming guests with a warm greeting. This has definitely become my new favorite spot!
My partner and I shared the Ph-Hilfe-Gà, and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was flavorful, and the hot sauce added an excellent kick. It was a generous portion, and we shared it comfortably for lunch. I'm thrilled to have discovered a great Vietnamese spot, especially since I haven't found good pho since living in New York City. I'm so glad to have found this place and plan to become a regular!
I've been dining at this restaurant for 10 years, and they serve the best pho I've ever had. Throughout the years, I've tried many popular places, but they all fell short in comparison. The broth here is truly exceptional—it's like magic. They always use fresh vegetables. I've experimented with various combinations on the menu, and I've never been disappointed. I usually enjoy a variety of garnishes, whether it's a little or a lot. The meat is fantastic—thinly sliced and complemented perfectly by that incredible broth. You can choose between white meat or dark meat, depending on your preference. The owner is very kind, and the whole family works hard to keep everything running smoothly. They really are a lovely family. This place is a true gem.
Don't be deceived by the modest decor; this place is fantastic. If you love large bowls of soup filled with deliciousness and fresh herbs, you're in for a treat. There are also plenty of noodles! The number 31 might be one of the best dishes I've ever had for under $9. It's a delightful combination of sweet and sour sauce over noodles, with roast pork, shrimp, chopped lettuce, diced spring rolls, and a sprinkle of peanuts on top. Not to be overshadowed, the number one mixed beef soup is my favorite go-to order. I won't lie—I always get both dishes every time I visit. Without fail. I order the number one along with the number 31 as my appetizer, plus a Thai bubble tea. Together, they cost me less than $20. That's an incredible deal for this much joy!
