Amaretto Italian Kitchen

Very disappointing experience, I visited on Sunday 22/10/2023 with my wife it was the first time I had been for a while and I was looking forward to it because my wife was raving about the risotto she had whilst there with friends, alas she was even more disappointed as this time round the risotto wasn 't the same and she only ate one spoonful . I started with the Mozzarella Fritti, which was fine and then went for the Penne Arrabbiata (with added Fillet Strips) but to be honest, whilst the sauce was okay the pasta and fillet strips were over cooked. My wife did complain about her risotto explaining how poor it was compared to that which was served on her last visit and this was deducted from the bill, but I had to ask our sever if any of the management team where interested in our experience before a manager came near us. All in a very poor experience in terms of food quality and service. I came in to Amaretto with my Grandparents and Celiac Partner. She was able to have a full lunch without worrying about Gluten! The options are fantastic for Celiacs and the options for dairy free are great too! Very rare for an Italian. Wonderful wee hidden gem serving great food and great drinks. Service was top quality and food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back with the rest of the family!
