Taco Bell - Brewer

It's not terrible. I love the chicken there, but sometimes it's so clear it sat under a heat lamp for a couple of hours that you HAVE to ask for fresh chicken. It's understaffed and getting pretty slow compared to what it used to be, but that's no fault oftheirs for the most part. The other menu items can be very skimpy depending on who makes your order I guess. I got a side of Macn cheese the other day that literally didn't even come close to filling the tiny container it comes in

This place isn't perfect, and probably never will be due to it being a fast food restaurant near Bangor. They get things slightly wrong with my order almost every time I visit, but that really doesn't matter to me. The team at this storedeserves/probably has already received a most improved award from corporate as well as raises all around and maybe even a pizzaparty. I'm sure everyone living in this area remembers that this store was total dogwater for the last 3 years, with massivelines, long wait times, and bad food quality. I worked doordash over the winter, and watched a lot of the local fast food places rise and fall , and out of all of the local joints, this one has been Top Frag for the past 5 months. They seem to be gettingconsiderable business still, but they're funneling cars out the drive thru with higher quality, better made meals whiledelivering exceptional customer service. I worked some fast food places around here during the pandemic, and I'm well aware thatthe customers nowadays have gotten so much worse, so I wanted to leave this review here partially for potential customers, butmostly for the staff. Don't listen to the people that scream at you because you ran out of diablo sauce or forgot their ice intheir drink or whatever, they're total losers that have no friends. You guys are doing great, and to any of the staff thatworked through the last 2 years that are still there, you should be proud of yourself for pulling this store out of the gutter.If anyone in the Brewer/Bangor area wants the best possible fast food experience, they should go exclusively to the BrewerKFC/Taco Bell, the Brewer Burger King, and the Broadway McDonald's. Ignore anyone whining about missing items at any store,mistakes happen, and staff will gladly and swiftly fix your problem if you're not a witch. 10/10 store, would recommend to anylocal who forgot to make dinner or needs a quick snack.

Food was well done and nicely packed. Line was a little slow... it was dinner time so that could be for much of the stop on. Politics and friendly service!

We decided to grab dinner at the drive-thru on our way home. We ordered a party pack of soft tacos along with two other meals. The person at the drive-thru sounded annoyed, as if we had ruined his evening. While the party pack was fine, the other bag containing our two orders had broken tacos. Additionally, our fries were upside down in the bag, along with our two bags of cinnamon twists.

The food was completely unacceptable. We were very disappointed and ended up leaving without eating. We took a couple of bites and decided to go. Additionally, when we placed our order, we informed the gentleman at the counter that we had a limited amount of time, yet we still ended up waiting for a long time, just like everyone else. This location just wasn't a good fit for us. Unfortunately, our experience has put us off of Taco Bell in general. While I won't be returning to this specific location, I will consider giving Taco Bell another chance at a different one before making a final decision.
