Osteria Tananai - BRESCIA

I had dinner with My frinds Last week and it was fantastic! We reserved a table by a Phone call with no problem even if they suggest to call some days before. The waiteres were very kind and rural , you know, if you whant to eat and be server by someone which belong from thise place, well this 's the righe place! You will eat tasty dishes but don 't think to full your self only by one plate, if you are hungry you have to eat more than one plate; but hey, this 's your opportunity hahah Enojoy

Tough review to write. Food was very good but we felt unwelcome. 1. No one at the restaurant is fluent in English. While many restaurants have this issue with foreigners, some at the restaurant seemed less uninterested in trying to accommodate. 2. Menus are available in English but the translations are not accurate and not exactly inviting. See photos for some of the more humorous examples. 3. The food was actually very good. Many items on the menu were not available the night we visited (lasagna, veal with tuna sauce). Very disappointing. The ravioli (many variations) and the deserts were the big hit. Wine list was also good. If you are visiting Brescia. Consider eating closer to the three plazas. Unless you speak the local dialect.
