Fort Taco - Brentwood

There is no other place in STL that serves tacos like this! They fry the flour tortilla to make it crispy. I can tell that the tacos are made fresh because that's how my family makes them too. The tamales are decent, but the puffer tacos are the standout dish! Plus, one taco is as big as my head. I can never finish two because they are so large.

I had never heard of Fort Taco until I was offered a buy one combo entree get one free deal. So we decided to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, satisfying, and we left feeling very full. We will definitely be returning!

The food at this restaurant is prepared fresh when you order it, and the puffy taco is absolutely amazing - and it's also very large. I ordered the veggie taco (potato and pea mixture) as well as one with just salsa, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce, and both were incredibly delicious! I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

Puffer tacos are AMAZING. Try getting one of each, in chicken. The TAMALES are to die for so authentic. This was a visit home to Albuquerque, NM. Will definitely be back! TAKE OUT ONLY.

Service was a bit off but worked out ok. The food is very good. I recommend paying for extra meat in the tacos as it's the most flavorful/seasoned ingredient.
