Just can 't say enough good about this place..Brenda and her foods/drinks are a delight. My husband called about 45 minutes ahead for a reservation on Valentine 's Day. Imagine our delight walking in on a chilly day and finding our 'reserved ' spot infront of the fire and a window with two cozy upholstered chairs. Her coffee concoctions are amazing, 290 Club sandwich huge andinventive..we split everything so that we could indulge ourselves in dessert..hot homemade biscuits served in a hot cast ironskillet..oozing with a butter honey sauce. And we still took home leftovers! Our second or third visit..and our new traditionfor Valentine 's lunch..you won 't be disappointed. Charming.
I was rescued by an incredible cup of coffee. It's a fantastic spot with very friendly staff.
This place is a gem. It's definitely a unique bistro with a limited but delicious menu that features both breakfast delights and lunch options. The ingredients are fresh, expertly combined, and beautifully presented. Our waitress was enthusiastic about offering suggestions to enhance our experience. Gluten-free options are available, but you’ll need to ask for them. If you're traveling between Austin and Houston, I highly recommend stopping by—just keep in mind that they’re only open from 8 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant after seeing all the fantastic reviews, and we were so glad we did! The Aztec coffee was excellent, and the biscuits and gravy were outstanding. The bread was perfectly toasted yet soft and fluffy in the middle, and the gravy complemented it beautifully. We also ordered the avocado toast with various toppings and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner was incredibly welcoming and personable; we loved chatting with her and hope to return one day. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, and those cinnamon buns you made were absolutely delicious!
