Great place to stop and have a cup of coffee. This is Independence Coffee Company. (Don't know where Black Truck 48 comes... I have to ask her. Besides coffee, they have some pastries and coffee related gifts. Nice quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Much superior in the large chain coffee shop in Brenham!

Sweet little coffee shop with a great selection of locally roasted coffees and yummy teas. The storefront is situated in front of the roastery. Perfect place to linger with coffee with a friend or to study for exams.

Great Coffee place. Independence Coffee is fresh roasted and the people are nice.

Your service isn't as refined as your amazing coffee nor do the pastries look or taste like they were baked fresh. A muffin that I ate was very soft a doughy almost like it had too much milk or flour in the ingredients. Coffee -5/5 Service Food 2/5

The friendly faces at the counter serve you one of several flavors that is personally roasted by the owners. This could be my home away from home!!!! My cup overflows!
