Family Pancake House Kitsap - Bremerton

The breakfast was great. but bigger guard on our server, loly, that was delightful, attentive and patient. she made a good meal great! and garrett often stayed with refills and smile to the wide, which is so beautiful to see. kitsap a good place!

We used to frequent this restaurant for our club meetings due to their great facilities for large groups. However, after two disappointing meals a few years ago, we stopped dining there and only visited occasionally. Yesterday, we decided to give it another try and were left disappointed once again. I ordered the roast turkey and the stuffed dish with red potatoes. Both dishes were smothered in a lumpy, lukewarm gravy and the turkey was overly fatty and mushy. The filling was bland and the vegetables were overcooked. After just a few bites, my partner and I couldn't stomach the food any longer. The diners next to us even commented on how unappetizing our plates looked. The meat on my partner's plate was equally unappetizing, to the point where we didn't even save the leftovers for our dogs - and we're not picky eaters! I regret not taking photos of our meals. For $40, we will be dining elsewhere in the future.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you warmly and shows you to your seat with a delicious menu in hand. The food is incredibly fresh and the portions are generous. The staff is also excellent. What more could you ask for?

I really wanted to love this restaurant because I like to support local businesses, and it was recommended by a friendly person I had a humorous conversation with. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed when we walked in and were greeted by a damp, musty odor. The host was pleasant, and the coffee was the only reason I am giving this place two stars - which is the minimum standard. The coffee was interesting and flavorful, but nothing exceptional. The menu looked promising with a wide selection, but the food fell short of expectations. The meal was average at best (the bacon was good, but the eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and the pancakes were mediocre). Despite being hungry, we only finished our meal out of necessity. The server continuously tended to the table next to us, ignoring our needs. Our order was also incorrect, but that was the least of our concerns. We only wanted to try this place off our list of restaurants to visit. We are still on the search for the perfect pancake spot, and this restaurant will not be revisited. Whether one loves or hates this place depends on personal preference. We do not hate it, but it is definitely a pass for us.

Food was good but we were extremely overcharged. It ended being over $30 EACH. A table for one behind us had a ticket of over $40. He had sticker shock just like we did. 2 people with average diner type food costing over $60 is horrendous. The service was terrible and the food was good but not good enough to be that expensive!! For that price, dessert should of at least been OFFERED and the service top notch! We will never be returning. Neither will the gentleman with the $40 ticket just for him!!
