Macallans Public House - Brea

Great place if they want to get out of the house. not thrilled by To-Go container during immersion. I expected real tellers. maybe on open table.

This is the second time in so many months that I'm dining in this pub. it's a nice pub, with very good food, but both of them I had terrible service. both of them I was with a small group of friends, both the paints eating was very good, and both the paints I was there for 3 hours and had 3 rounds of drinks the most because the server came about every 45 minutes 1 hour. it seems that it was regular and their server were at their tabs a minimum of all 15 minutes. the latest experience I had, we were quite ignored for an hour before we finally flagd someone down to get us a second round. we saw the very sweet and friendly busses much more common and asked them to help us. I really like this place, but they need to make a decent server training. I was a bartender for years, they can not ignore tables just because they do not know them, especially when they spend most of their time chatting and laughing with other tables they do. it is border attack. I would like to try again this place, but given the service both times and the amount of large restaurants and bars in the opposite, I think I would like to give my business to a place with decent customer service and decent food.

Brunch menu has a variety of options, service was great. Comfortable seating. Amazing place!

I love that I can dine out here. The breakfast burrito is fantastic and so huge that we had to take half home with us. The terrace is small but they made it very inviting. The server was very attentive.

Overall was good except I had not expected that they use ice as waffel for hugging and waffel, huh tastes good. server and hostess were both attentive and friendly. would definitely go back to try other articles.
