I've ordered here dozens of times. My order has never been messed up and the food tastes great.
My husband and I are truck drivers and stopped by around 9:15 PM, feeling quite hungry as many places were closed. Fortunately, this restaurant was open until 10:00 PM. When we arrived, the owner mentioned that he was primarily doing takeout orders and had closed early because things were slow. However, he noticed we had driven quite a distance and kindly offered us a place to sit and eat. We declined to make him stay longer than necessary, but he took our order and went back to the kitchen to prepare our meals fresh. We truly appreciated his kindness, which is a rarity in the trucking world! To top it all off, the food was AMAZING! Thank you!
We tried the Vegetable Udon, Crab Rangoons, Scallion Pancakes, and Pineapple Fried Rice. It was some of the best Asian food we’ve had in a long time. The fried rice was amazing, packed with a variety of unexpected vegetables that added an incredible flavor. The Udon and Crab Rangoons were also excellent. We requested their chili paste with chili oil, and it was delicious. The pancakes were a little less crispy than I prefer; I suspect they lost some crispness during the drive back to the hotel. Nonetheless, everything was fantastic. We’ll definitely make it a point to eat there again next time we're in the area!
Every three months, I go out to dinner with my girlfriend, and since I live in West Brattleboro, Asian Gourmet is a great choice, just an 8-minute walk from my place. Be sure to try the Dragonsushi—it’s delicious and beautifully presented!
