What an amazing jewel we found tonight by walking into a gift shop ! Tucked away in a beautiful back room was the Blue Moose Cafe! We had a delicious dinner, very personal service in a quiet and eclectic atmosphere. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone visiting Brattleboro ! In the West Village of NYC, this would be a hot spot ! By the way, the gift shop is excellent as well; filled with candles, soaps, jewelry, stationery and kitchenware. Come and see for yourself.......

Great lunch. Great service. Gnocchi and meatballs to die for.

We started with Roman Gnocchi and Butcher Meatballs and we liked both but the meatballs had 5 ! The seconds were Mussels, Fettuccine with pancetta, pea basil-pine but pesto, Rigatoni with Vermont bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. and Linguine, green beans, potatoes and basil pesto. They were all good, but the Fettuccine and the Lunguine were our top favorites. One of us was still hungry so he had the flat iron sautéed and we shared it and we all thought it was faboulous!!! We will definitely be back!!!
