Nandos - Bradford

After ordering we could see what looked like our food sat under the heater for 20 minutes after they had cooked it. The table next to us arrived 15 minutes after us, ordered and had nearly finished! Our food was still under the hot plate! I asked the waitress if she could check if this was our food, it was. No apology, eventually they cooked some fresh and brought it to us. Not good enough really, small portions, inexperienced and miserable staff. Doesn't seem to be anyone taking a lead in this restaurant and organising things. Not fair on your staff Nandos. Wouldn't surprise me if you have a high turnover of staff and lots of unhappy customers in this restaurant.

I went into Nandos for a meal with my family and we had to wait 20 mins to be seated at table although they were not busy. Once we were seated, I placed the order and when I got to my table, the food was there. The wrap and the burger were cold and looked as though the chicken was not fresh either. I informed the waitress and she provided with a “ replacement”. Again, the food was cold we complained again and we got another “replacement”. This time the food was brought by the manager who tried convincing us that the although the wrap itself and the burger bun is meant to be cold, the chicken is freshly cooked and is hot. This was not the case at all! We just ate the chips and left Nandos. We wasted our money and time and I would definitely say that Nandos is not worth it at all! Very very disappointed.

We are not from Bradford so this was our first visit to this particular Nando's. I was very surprised at how small the portions were in comparison to our local Nandos. The service was good but there was a lot of young staff messing around in the kitchen and on the tables around the side which I don't find very professional. I think this place could benefit from better management.

I requested to Eat in at this restaurant, it was less than half full, the inept waiter then asked me to order then wait outside- (to eat in) needless to say i took my custom directly to pizza hut next door, which is great as always. This is another in a long string of failings at various Nandos restaurants, its now firmly off my radar.

Had the sharing platter which was meant to have two chicken breasts , but turned out the breasts were so tiny it would only have counted as one for any normal main meal. I thought they'd forgotten one until I saw the child's single breast and realised the was meant to be two. We orders a kids chicken breast too and it was indeed a teeny breast (about the length of my index finger). Fine for a toddler like ours but it's meant to be for kids up to ten! Sides were a good size but definitly not the chicken portions . The new menu doesn't offer the old half chicken or quarter chicken and this feels like a massive drop in portion size .
