Tommo's Fish & Chippery - Bracken Ridge

Even though there were negative reviews, we took a chance and decided to have lunch here. We ordered the fish and chip pack for 2 with a side of calamari. The restaurant wasn't busy, so our order was ready in just 5 minutes. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and served in a generous portion. The calamari was tasty, although a bit on the small side. They even gave us tartare sauce for free. Overall, it was great value for the money and the best fish and chips we've had in the area so far.

I disagree with the negative reviews! I really enjoy this restaurant. They serve delicious homemade batter for their pumpkin fritters, which I believe they also use for their potato fritters. The quality of the chips can vary, but I always stick to the fritters. The owners seem new, but I find their service to be satisfactory.

Edit I call my previous 5-star review for this load unfortunately and here is the reason. I had a few fish- and kartoffel-shalops yesterday. I found that the fish is now almost paper-thin and I had to turn on the light in the car to see... if I actually had fish or a very thin potato kalotte. the potato calves were also paper-thin. I understand that all costs rise. I ordered my usual job and got about 1 3 of the food I got earlier, even the lemon was almost through. only so that everyone understands my position here. I'd rather pay more for what I ordered earlier. instead of paying the same and getting less. I'm sorry, not happy now. the fish is no longer a piece of fish! I really liked what I ordered. I'm not. unless I hear it's better. I can't see I'm coming back. I'm sure other people are going to go one more thing....but more people get less, and find that there's no more delicious food....this business will go downhill.

Great value, good food, the chips are the best I had in the time. I can do this as a place for a good fish and chips meal. they also offer good price-performance menus.

Had a shop a docket that gave a family meal of 2 hamburgers, 2 cheeseburger, large chips, gravy and a 1.25 l drink for $25. for this price (the apparently $10 off) it was reasonable, but I would not be the full price for the standard. the food we have. that is, the burgers were quite easy with regard to salat and the gravy was a bit thin and not really delicious. the chips were a great tasting and plentiful.
