Beach House On Deer Lake - Boyne City

Party of 7 including two 4 year Olds. We waited a while for a server but turns out there was a mix up and once our server came over she was amazing and bonus points for being great with our two boys. Drinks and food came out in promptly without having to find our server at any time. The food, especially the fish entrees, we 're perfect. Patio was lovely and views on the lake with the sunset, added bonus.

Theresa, our waitress was delightful and caring. Theresa gave prompt attentive service to our table of 6. We ordered lobster rolls, chicken sandwiches, salad a kid’s meal-all of which tasted good but were a tad pricey for lunch.

The food does. Not. Miss. Ask for Dana as your server and be weary of loud parties indoors.

While this place had a fantastic view of the lake and good food, the service here left quite a lot to be desired. Our waitress (Heather) didn't come check on us very often (if at all) during our visit and our food took quite some time to come out. She was not very welcoming or friendly during our time at the restaurant. The food taking a while to come out could be chalked up to taking some extra time to make sure all of our meals came out together, but we had gotten there prior to a few other visitors and we were the last to leave as well (there were 8 of us in the party). It was not the experience we wanted while celebrating the bride-to-be. One of our party members found a bug in her espresso martini, but that was taken care of by having her drink remade. My other main complaint is that this is a cash-free restaurant; I do not like the concept of them as it is very unhelpful when trying to tip your server. Gratuity was included for being a large party, so be aware. I hope that our experience here is better next time, as the place itself is rather nice. It's the service that didn't live up to our expectations.

We just had drinks they were ok. The view is beautiful!
