Love this place!! Recently moved to Bowie and was lucky enough to discover this place. All items on the menu are great especially the wings!! If not sure what to order, definitely get the wings! All the burgers are delicious as well! Staff is super friendly, especially Amy! I visit here frequently and will continue to.
The day after St. Patrick's Day, I was lucky to enjoy some delicious leftovers at Rafter G restaurant. I had the best Reuben sandwich of my life, even though I didn't think I liked them before. I missed my usual traditional dish, so I decided to give the Reuben a try the next day. To my surprise, it was amazing! The flavors came together in a delightful way, unlike any other sandwich I've had before. It was a truly unforgettable food experience. I now know that I do like Reubens, especially the one from Rafter G. Kudos to the chef and the restaurant. If you ever find yourself in the small town of Rambo, look for the billboards off I-10 near the New Mexico-Arizona state line and follow the signs to Rafter G. You won't be disappointed!
The carne asada tacos and pecan pie at this restaurant are fantastic! We sat in a lovely shaded area and savored our meal. Next door, there is a shop where you can find all kinds of jerky and local pistachios. The service at both places is incredibly friendly. If you're in need of snacks, they have plenty to choose from.
We stopped for lunch on our way back from San Diego and both ordered burgers. My wife had the hamburger with onion rings, while I had the cheeseburger with no tomato and tots. Both patties were cooked to medium as we requested. The burgers, rings, and tots were all pretty good. We also visited their jerky shop on the way back to the interstate and purchased the cowboy and tearjerker jerky, mixed nut brittle, and a bag of pecan halves. The cowboy jerky was regular, while the tearjerker jerky used Carolina Reaper peppers, which was surprisingly not too hot. We enjoyed the brittle as well. We would recommend this place and would definitely visit both locations again.
