Fat Dumpling Bowen Hills

Go to brunswick street. this at the king street is a very bad imitation. service very slow, and food quality poor, which is very sad as the in brunswick street is amazing!

The service was so slow. we ordered and received not our 1st plate, edamame up to 35 minutes later. then each court came out so slowly. the last of our 5 dishes came out 55 minutes after our original order. Terrible

A group of 6 went out in our lunch hour, ordered at 12:30, at 1:30 only two out of about 10 items had come out, as we had to go back to work, we asked where our food is and we said it was not even cooked. When we asked for a refund only, as we had to go back, they said they could not find out how to refund the EFTPOS machine, so I asked cash they had advised that they had not. when they couldn't come with a solution, they asked if I could come back later to clarify what we couldn't do when we worked. after about 15 minutes without solutions and the cashier and the dame in return with a argument, we were recommended to eat was ready, 1 hour and 15 minutes after the order. no explanation for it and a pretty bad attitude from all employees. don't waste your time!

The dumplings were quite good, but the service was a big break. order 1 steamed and 1 fried dumplings, but at the end got 2 fried. when the personal as we ordered it was pushed for a swap to a steamed empty, it was totally apathetic and simply wanted us to "recognize it because it was already cooked". I do not understand this kind of customer service where, if they have even admitted their own mistake, their customers are forced to accept it. they have accused us of what we originally ordered. it is really a shame that this service with no attempt of service recovery will mean that we do not return in a hurry. their dumplings are really quite plump, juicy with a thin wrap. the filling is overall juicy, tasty and fresh.

My family love dumplings. I’m a bit so so on the whole thing but these guys had a nice place with a few fun options quick service.
