The Yellow Deli - Boulder

After our meal, the staff kindly allowed us to use their personal bikes to explore the town, recommending the stunning Boulder Creek Trail. It's truly impressive that these dedicated individuals bike to work every day, covering a distance of seven miles! Overall, our experience was fantastic. The people, the atmosphere, and the food were all exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Yellow Deli and the Twelve Tribes community in Boulder for their warm welcome to my boyfriend Eric and me during our visit. We genuinely appreciate places like this and I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe to everyone!

We chose to have some chili, soup, and salad as a light snack before embarking on our hike up Flagstaff Mountain. The food was delightful—fresh and wholesome. The bread was amazing as well! The ambiance is quite captivating; it truly brings to mind The Shire from Lord of the Rings. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with delicious food, excellent service, and they even provide wifi!

We did not read any reviews before we decided to eat a late lunch here so we did not know what we were getting in to. We got a couple salads and a sandwich all good! They tried to accommodate a couple requests with our orders, but it seemed like they were not used to that very often and threw them off a bit, but eventually we figured something out together. The breads were all so good (each salad came with bread as well as the bread the sandwich came with), but dense so be aware of that. Very affordable for the rest of the area around the Pearl Street Mall. We were able to be seated right away with no wait. The staff were super friendly and attentive. In fact, it felt like they had much more staff than a place of that size really needs, but it did make the service 10/10. The vibe felt like you stepped into a fantasy book or movie tavern with the painted wood decor. If you are looking for an affordable dining location different than the rest of what’s around the mall, check this place out for sure.

Glad we found this small quaint place on Pearl St. Delicious food and ultra filling. Good prices and adorable seating inside. Friendly staff. Can’t go wrong in my book. Menu is limited but that’s what it is- a cafe

Fun woodsy atmosphere! Such nice people and the food is wonderful. The pesto turkey sandwich is on point. Or the veggie burger. Also must try the matcha teas they make themselves.
