SALT - Boulder

Salt is what this restaurant lacks. Foods are under-seasoned and over-priced. Specific comments in photo captions. Cannot believe I paid $45/person for this. The star is for the beer.

We had a dinner of two and it the was a lovely experience. The cocktails were delicious. My steak was cooked clean, and perfectly seasoned. 100% grass fed and grass finished. My friend had the gnocchi and it was amazing, especially with the meat tomato sauce. The interior of the restaurant is intricately rusty yet modern. We love the historic Red brick walls

The manager was wonderful for us, but we got there without reservation after open table let us make a reservation without letting us know that salt had not worked with her organization weeks before. it was Valentine's Day and the table we thought we had reserved, did not exist. the manager was a champ to find us a place to sit and we ended up with a nice meal, but I will never use open table again to reserve a table in a restaurant.

Such a great place to spend one of the first date nights we had in 2 years. table for 6, semi-detached semi-chairs directly at the windows to pearl street mall with good friends and some new friends. beautiful evening. thx maddy and brad.

Our food was almost inedible. Seafood risotto was very fishy and had the consistency of soup. The Vegetable platter was flavorless and came out cold. I ended up spending around 150 for a special date night to be very disappointed. I used to love this restaurant when I lived in Boulder.
