This review is a direct answer to Kristin Sweeting Morelli?s review below. My husband and I were sitting next to Kristin during lunch on Friday. I will begin this review by saying that we love Lucky?s. Even if they are short-size, they are transparent about it and make our expectations right that the service can be a little slow. Many of their employees recently returned to college. This restaurant is a real jewel. The food is excellent and it really feels like a neighborhood place. It will be a little shelter for us, somehow like Cheers!! Therefore, when my husband and I went to Lucky to have a casual lunch, we were upset SUPER that a couple behind us on the terrace decided that it was appropriate to have a loud ZOOM call while we could hear the person on the other end?.that went for a few minutes. We didn't say anything. It was Kristin. Later we heard Kristin following one of the servers for the various sadnesses that were outlined in her review (one was that her husband?s protein style? Sandwich she doubtfully claimed was a mean term? was wrong? honestly I never heard of it, but it was a keto thing that was confusing because he also ordered Fritten? I digress). When we left, the original server cried in the bathroom about what had occurred. I think the lower line is that Kristin is an angry narcissist. She wants to have it both? she is all right to disturb the meal of all the other males, and she demands a PERFECT meal herself. I hope the manager told her to go and never come back because the sweet family, neighborhood atmosphere is one of the things that makes Lucky so special.

We always came here. The administration is terrible. It also changes like the seasons. Overall, this restaurant is not well managed and never was. Although there are some servers that we like, there are some really bad apples and there is a lot of sales. Those who are great weren't there the last two times, so who knows maybe they left. Today we had a really bad server running around chaotic while we help other girls to have a very bad day. When she came to take our order, she got it completely wrong. This part we understand. What we don't understand is the reason why she lied to us and why she took off while we discussed what we needed. What happened after that, with the blonde manager, was completely unacceptable. We're not even going in because it was so bad. There are some great breakfast places in Boulder. Do not take the risk of running into a very unpleasant situation on this.

The staff was very friendly and professional. I had the best pot with Tahini and Granola. Her tofu dice with potatoes is hearty and tasteful. The best was their coffee.

Fantastic waiting staff and really wonderful with our dog. The food was spectacular I highly encourage the tofu scramble. Very friendly people and a wonderful contrast to our experience at tangerine
