Agave Mexico Bistro Tequila House

I was really loving this place. The pace was intentionally slowed way down, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the food and drink. Our server was personable and engaging. The ambience was just what I was looking for in a date night. Everything tasted amazing...I was so ready to give this place 5 stars. Just before leaving, I went into the restroom and watched a server come out of the stall and skip the sink. I thought back to how many times he had shaken my hand throughout the night. I figured he just sent a text or fixed his shirt or something. But it doesn't matter. If you are a server and you go to the restroom, you wash your hands before you leave. You are handling other people's food. It's been one month since my visit and I still can't shake that experience.

Fantastica muy bien! I cannot believe we did not find this place sooner; our office is right across the street. We took clients here from Latin America and they were so impressed with how authentic and even how current the music was. The food was fabulous. Fabulous; and rare, but vegetarian friendly. And not just a few crappy dishes, good, thoughtful quality food. Gluten free chips; and tons of other options. The service was top notch. Wonderful experience, we will revisit!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever eaten at, it is a Must stop if you like Mexican food. The Queso Fundido Con Chorizo is a must try.

I rarely give out 5-star ratings, but this restaurant truly impressed me. I had never heard of it before, but the food was amazing, the portion sizes were huge, the menu was extensive, and everything tasted fresh. The service was great, and the staff was patient and knowledgeable. I used to live nearby and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place as the best in Boulder.

The food was incredible, the portions were huge, and the staff was friendly. I was shocked at how empty the restaurant was. And for dessert, they served delicious sopapillas.
