I found the bill a little expensive for lunch but most places in the area are not cheap. I'll have to go back for dinner when I have a little more time to experiment.
Went there for diner with 2 other couples. Service was good but food was very average! Dumplings we're OK, but we didn't like our main course. General Tao or Orange Beef or WOK teriyaki.....eveyrything tated the same? There are better Asian restaurant on the South Shore....
Saw this place while passing by and gave it a try. Inside, the decor is good and the staff seemed friendly. I placed a take out order. The food was totally disappointing , I ordered the general tao, fried calamari and mixed dumplings. The only thing the general tao had going for it was the sauce, chicken was overcooked, rice and veggies had absolutely no flavour and the proportions are way off, having more rice than chicken and a couple of veggies. Calamari was ok, having a sauce to dip it in, but no other spice added to them. The mixed dumplings where ok as well, also came with a sauce. Rating poor, why? Value!!! This basically cost me 50$ and I found the proportions to be way too small. Too much rice with the general tao, 15$ of calamari barely filled a small plate, and the same for the dumplings, which where smaller than my thumb. Bought this to eat at home with the family (2 adults and 1 child), since we weren't that hungry, but it wasn't even close to be enough. It will be a first and last for me.
I had one dish and it was excellent: the Tofu Coco Curry rice bowl. At $15.75 it wasn't cheap but I would pay it again to have a dish THAT good. Made with organic tofu. Lots of vegetarian items on the menu. Friendly service. I sure hope I have to visit customers out here again soon ...
We stayed at a nearby hotel and decided to g a take out here one night. It's located in an area with lots of other restaurants. It took around 20 minutes for the food to get ready and that's fine on a fairly busy Sunday night. We ordered the beef bao and the General (can't remember the name) chicken. The total came to almost $35 for fairly small potions. It was very odd that the bao was served with salad and fries. The fries were soggy and unpleasant. We ate them within ten minutes of being prepared. The bao itself was very tasty and the other dish was ok.
