The service here was friendly and quite fast for there only being one waiter when I went. I'd definitely like to come again; the prices were quite reasonable, and the pad see-ew with vegetables was amazing. It was flavorful, and the rice noodles in it werethe perfect texture. If you ordered a drink, the straws would come with a cute flower in top made with the straw wrapper.
A charming little Thai restaurant. I visited on a rainy day after stopping by Dollar Tree. I ordered the tofu pad see ew and scallion pancakes, and both dishes were fantastic! They were really simple but incredibly fresh.
I started with a generous bowl of Tom Kha Gai Soup, which featured tender slices of chicken and mushrooms in a light coconut milk broth infused with galangal, chilies, and lime for $4.25. The unique combination of galangal and lime with the slightly sweet coconut milk made this soup one of my favorites. Next, I had the Pickpow bowl, choosing chicken as my protein. It was slightly spicy and delicious, sautéed with chili sauce, mushrooms, carrots, red peppers, scallions, and baby corn. It was priced at $10 and came with a large side of white rice. The portion was so substantial that I ended up taking half of it home. The food was so delightful that I couldn’t resist trying their Chicken Pad Thai, which I ordered to go. It features rice noodles stir-fried with tamarind sauce, fish sauce, egg, and scallion, for $9.25. The restaurant itself was immaculate, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. And if you have time after your meal, be sure to check out the Super 88 Hong Kong Asian Market right around the corner!
I also tried the rib rice, which was amazing! The ribs were huge, and the prices were reasonable too, ranging from $12 to $16.
