Steve's Kitchen - Boston

This is a wonderful spot for breakfast at a local restaurant in Brookline. The woman who served and prepared our meals was incredibly kind and friendly. The food was excellent! I had a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with home fries, while my companion ordered the Eastern omelette. I highly recommend checking it out!

The staff was extremely friendly, and they offer some fantastic specials. I made my own omelette, and it was absolutely delicious.

For $8.88 (including tax), I enjoyed a gyro on pita, fries, and a Snapple. The couple who runs the restaurant were very friendly, and the service was quick. The food was tasty for the price, even if the gyro wasn't mind-blowing. It made for a satisfying lunch. I would have liked a bit more veggies in the gyro, but that might have made it too messy to eat. My only drawback was that the fries weren't salted, although they were served hot enough for the salt to stick. Just a heads up, Steve's Kitchen is cash only. There is an ATM on-site, but it didn’t seem to be working when I visited.

Cash only, super cheap, good coffee, good food. One of those family owned diners prepared by themselves. I was served by a sweet elderly lady. The only drawbacks were that service was not tip-top and you would smell like the kitchen for the rest of your day.

Awesome old school diner with the actual 'mom n pop ' still there cooking and serving simple diner food for breakfast plus Greek specialties for lunch. Good prices and service. These kinds of places are disappearing, getting replaced by Starbucks and Dunkins so stop by and check it out while you still can. Cash only.
