Florentine Cafe - Boston

Before over a week was a reservation. 10 minutes early, and they pressed the 5 of us on a table of 4th guards thought we came without reservation why we were on such a small table. No. but not rushed back

We have come every year for the last 5 years on our boston trip to this restaurant. I was as disappointed as we were treated this year by the manager person who sat us. we came to our reservation time. he shows us a table that is close to the door and right at the top of the inn. we asked if we could have another table and he told us with a very bad ton that there was nothing else. we said we could wait and he was good, but I don't know when they'll get one table. his posture was bad and he was quite rude for us. Unfortunately we will look for another place next year. So, the service is so incredibly slow as there are usually only 1 waiter and 1 busser.

We visited twice last week. once at 12/31 and once at 1/2. the service was phenomenal on 12/31, but rather bad on 1/2. we love eating absolutely and are always satisfied with it, but not sure whether the server was new, but was very inattentive and several tabs received their meal before us. We were also first in the door, with simple things.

Always a great meal. Love the space. Staff are friendly. Always eat there when visiting the North End.

I went here with my family for my birthday. The waiter was absolutely wonderful in helping me celebrate with my family and “trying wine”. Food was delicious, and the restaurant felt very festive for the holiday!
